I am passionate about artistically documenting the most important times and people in our lives—love, marriage, upcoming education and careers, babies, growing families, and multi-generations! For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in, and love for, photographing people.

In 1998, when my second child, Emily, was born, my husband thought it was time for me to have a “real” camera and a couple of good lenses. With that equipment, a reading lamp, and some fabric stapled to our garage walls; I knew photography would no longer be a casual hobby for me.

Soon friends were asking me to take portraits of their children and families. The studio lights and backdrops came next, followed by the SLR digital camera, oodles of practice on my own four children, friends and family, and in 2002 my business was born...

Through the years I have learned so much about capturing “the” moment (or moments)-seeing and catching a personality on film is truly rewarding. I am particularly fond of photographing the delightful innocence (and mischievousness!) of children; from their first few days and weeks as a beautiful newborn to the sweet relationships between them and their siblings and parents. Young or old, as a group or individual, my goal is to keep the integrity of each personality. And, since my work is my advertising, I am meticulous about getting it right. I spend time personally retouching each photograph to make it look its best.

I am current member of the Professional Photographers of California and keep up with the latest technology and trends by attending classes from master photographers.
